About the event
Series 4: Pick & Roll Shooting Reads is part of the AAU Prep Elite Shooting Series at H.O.O.P.S. Academy and is designed for high school athletes preparing for advanced half-court scoring situations.
This session focuses on developing the ability to read defenders within ball screen actions and convert those reads into efficient shot opportunities.
Athletes will train to:
• Recognize defender positioning (under, over, drop)
• Execute pull-up reads off the screen
• Relocate for pocket and drift shooting
